Green Buildings Ordinance
The city of Denver required all new buildings or additions of more than 25,000 sq.ft. to apply to the Green Buildings Ordinance. To comply the project can get LEED Gold certified, demonstrate above standard energy efficiency (27% and above using 2015 IECC - Section C407, or 12% and above ASHRAE 90.1-2013 Appendix G), or pay a fee. It is highly recommended to hire professionals of energy modelling and LEED such as our team for all projects.
