2018 Seattle Construction Code - Coming July 1, 2020
All new commercial buildings in the city of Seattle would have to comply soon to the new efficiency standard based on IECC 2018. Main challenges would be to comply with increased envelope and lighting performance. In particular, the prescriptive energy compliance path would be harder to achieve even for an efficient building.
